kid-friendly hingham restaurant b.goodThis fast casual string of restaurants was started by two best friends with a vision for making fast food “real” by shaking up the way fast food is made. At b.good, the food is crafted by actual, real, live people without anything being pre-made in advance at some warehouse, and microwaves are nowhere to be found–a novel concept these days in fast food. Every location of these tasty, kid-friendly restaurants is always bumping and have a cheeky and friendly vibe–and this spot is no exception. Like all b.goods, this kid-friendly Hingham restaurant is counter service with a well-informed staff. Put in your order, grab an open seat, and wait for your name to be called while you pull together your drinks, house-made condiments, napkins and more.

family-friendly restaurant tip Have a kid that likes to see where the action is? Sit at the counter overlooking the busy kitchen and watch the team craft your meal in real-time.

Fantastic. Staff go out of their way to greet the little ones, offer lots of options for the kids, and understand that sometimes the best service is fast service–especially when the under 4ft crowd are on the scene.

Main Menu:

kid-friendly hingham restaurantb.good started way back when with great burgers, healthy(ish) fries, milkshakes and a few other items. They’ve since perfected those offerings and now also serve up creative, seasonal salads, kale and grain bowls and smoothies. b.good is very connected with their ingredient suppliers–so much so that you’ll see pictures on the walls of the farmers, growers and other vendors who supply the restaurants. And while not everything on the menu is perfectly healthy, many items are great choices for the health-conscious, and little tweaks go a long way–think wheat hamburger buns, veggies as a side and fries that aren’t born from a vat of oil. The burgers all have quirky names (you’ll see explanations for most around the restaurant) and are local, all-natural and in-house ground, and most other meats are all-natural as well. Plus–doesn’t it just feel good to know where your food is coming from?? Be sure not to miss:

  • Burgers (we like the Adopted Luke)
  • Harvest Kale Salad
  • Real Fries
