Nestled among Nantasket Beach nightlife, Hull’s Kitchen is a casual beach hut-style venue to kick up your heels and fuel up after a busy day riding the waves. This cheerful bungalow, with a deck overlooking the ocean, offers tasty kid-friendly fare at affordable prices. It’s a great alternative to more formal sit down kid-friendly South Shore restaurants, but still offers delicious freshly cooked food.
Hull’s Kitchen is a counter service establishment. There are tables on the side and back patios, and the bar deck out front to enjoy your tasty treats. Just place your order inside, and a server will deliver to your table when ready.
Don’t let the three spork rating keep you away – while missing some of the major items and amenities that garner top kid-friendly restaurant ratings, this venue still delivers high quality kid-friendly food for the toddler and older child group. While there is no changing table, there is a restroom (get key from counter!) that is clean and substantially sized to allow quick changes and group visits as need be.
This menu screams beach food at this kid-friendly South Shore restaurant. With an assortment of soft tacos, fried fish plates and sandwiches galore, there is something for everyone. For the more health minded, turn to weekly specials for grilled and salad options. The plate of ribs are fall off the bone delish, and the grilled corn and potato salad that accompanies it did not disappoint! There is a bar menu here as well, with a good selection of wine and beer options. They carry a number of local New England brews to boot! Favorites include:
- BBQ Ribs with corn and potato salad (rotating weekly special)
- 2/$8 tacos (we really love the fish and chicken ones!)
- Shoestring fries
There is a kid’s menu (easily missed if you don’t ask for it) that contains standard kiddie fare, but the regular menu is also full of many kid-friendly options. The 2/$8.00 tacos are substantial enough to feed a hungry toddler. (Mom and Dad may want to double up on their order or add some sides).
