Overview:

Tucked in a corner of JP’s The Brewery complex, this casual, family-friendly and delicious bakery and cafe turns out unique and tasty sandwiches, salads, baked goods and other treats all while focusing on sustainable business practices. Whether it is the locally sourced ingredients, composting and recycling practices (including their take-out containers), or that they refuse to serve tomatoes unless they are in season, this funky and cozy spot consistently garners awards for their green practices and accolades for their food. With rotating local artists hanging on the walls, you’ll even manage to squeeze in a bit of culture between bites.

Red star_15x15 When busy, most folks are accustomed to a communal approach to seating, so don’t be afraid to ask those only using ½ of their table if you can share the space.

Red star_15x15 Once your order is in, just settle in at your table. Just listen up for your name to be called when drinks are up at the counter, and the friendly and efficient staff will deliver your food to your table.

KidTude:

Great! There are high chairs a-plenty and at least one or two kids bellied up to a table at all times of day.

Kid’s Menu:

There’s no formal kid’s menu, but there are plenty of options to go around. Most sandwiches can be customized to match your little one’s tastes, the soup of the day is often a good choice and what kid doesn’t like yummy baked goods? Check out the delicious PB&J/H/N (peanut butter and your choice of jam, honey or Nutella). For the infants and toddlers still perfecting the art of chewing, the Ula staff can put together a number of softer side items, such as roasted sweet potatoes, avocados or hummus.
